Now let’s get everyone back in one room.

Our 60th Birthday Bash was an incredible success, and we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who travelled from near and far to celebrate this special milestone with us. It was a fantastic evening filled with laughter, music, old friendships rekindled, and new memories made. A special thank you goes to our dedicated volunteers and reunion committee, whose hard work and passion made the event possible. We are grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the celebration so memorable. Safe travels, stay connected, and we’ll see you again in the summer of 2029 for our 45-Year Reunion! Once a Vernon Grad ’84, always a Vernon Grad ’84. ❤️
Massive thanks to John McMahon and Meyer Sound of Berkley California, for donating the amazing sound equipment for Friday night’s party. Thank you to Patrick Davies and his marketing team at URated, and for flying in from Mexico to entertain us as our MC. To our fabulous volunteers—Judy Shirley, Sandi Lautrup, Sue Horton, and her daughter—for manning the registration/check-in tables for hours on end, to Rob Morris from Printech for supplying all our printed materials, and to the mystery angel(s) who cleaned up pretty much the entire ballroom after we left on Saturday night (we will be forever grateful). For those of you who invested in some 40th reunion apparel, of which there were many, we hope you enjoy it! A huge shout-out to our apparel suppliers, TMS from Enderby—they were fantastic to work with, and we highly recommend them. Your Silent Auction donations brought in over $2,500 to the VSS Benevolent Fund—a huge success as well! Thank you again to all those who donated, bid, and purchased. There were some amazing items up for grabs.
